Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing our clinicians to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain rapport with clients while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Conduct initial intake assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans addressing their mental health challenges.
- Manage a caseload of clients, which may include performing regular check-ins, monitoring their progress and stability, adjusting treatment as necessary, and managing discharge plans when appropriate.
- Document client interactions, treatment progress, and updates meticulously, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal regulations.
- Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and therapies catered to the unique needs of each client.
- Participate in ongoing individual supervision sessions, contributing to professional growth and reflective practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to create comprehensive care strategies that enhance the outcome for clients.
- Maintain a growth mindset, engaging actively in feedback and training opportunities to further enhance clinical skills and service delivery.
Your primary focus will be working with youth and adults facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. You will be tasked with meeting clients where they are, employing a strength-based approach to therapy that fosters self-efficacy and resilience.
Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill credentialing requirements as mandated by various clinical environments.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
- Prior experience in individual and group therapy modalities, as well as assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions.
- Basic proficiency in computer systems and a willingness to learn new software tools for documentation and client interaction.
While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
- Utilizing modern telehealth platforms effectively in therapy sessions.
- Working with diverse populations, including those from different cultural backgrounds.
- Specialized training in advanced therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
