Chrysalis Health Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves delivering direct clinical therapy services to individuals, couples, and families who require mental health support. Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position that allows our LCSW team to operate in a flexible and supportive setting. The role is focused on delivering counseling services primarily within school settings, which provides a unique opportunity to work with children and adolescents, alongside their families. Key Responsibilities- Provide intensive counseling, psychotherapy, and case management for clients addressing diverse mental health needs.
- Conduct comprehensive mental status exams, monitor and document changes in clients’ mental states, and adapt treatment as necessary.
- Maintain thorough and accurate case notes, progress reports, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilize a calm and empathetic demeanor to de-escalate challenging situations and guide clients toward beneficial solutions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, fellow social workers, case managers, and community resources, to coordinate effective treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients, promoting a safe and supportive environment for expression and healing.
- Engage in regular team consultations to share insights, improve service delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The primary client population served in this role consists of children, adolescents, and their families, particularly in the school settings across Las Vegas. Your expertise will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing the mental health challenges faced by young individuals, prioritizing their emotional and psychological well-being as they navigate their formative years.
Qualifications- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A valid Nevada License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and demonstrated capability to practice independently.
- Exceptional empathy and emotional intelligence, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and telehealth platforms for effective therapy delivery and documentation.
- Two years of relevant experience in clinical social work, preferably within school environments or with a focus on pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic approaches applicable to therapeutic settings.
- Experience collaborating with educational institutions and community services to enhance student mental health resources.
