Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, determining appropriate counseling pathways, work assignments, or additional referrals.

  • Deliver culturally sensitive counseling services for mental health and substance abuse issues to both individuals and groups, while managing case documentation efficiently.

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders—including clients, case managers, and other care providers—to ensure holistic client care.

  • Utilize evidence-based methodologies to inspire and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

  • Work in partnership with a diverse clinical team comprising psychiatrists, behavioral technicians, and case managers to promote comprehensive mental health treatment.

  • Engage in piloting experimental therapy protocols and innovative techniques to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

  • Participate in regular training sessions on our proprietary curriculum and collaborative care model to integrate best practices into your counseling sessions.

  • Prepare and finalize detailed psychological assessment reports, providing vocational guidance and constructive feedback tailored to clients' comprehension levels.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Understanding the unique dynamics of family involvement is essential as you’ll be working to support not just the individual, but the entire family unit in achieving stability and wellness.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

  • Possession of a valid state-issued Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

  • A clean history with no medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party source.

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a community health setting or with youth populations is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapy practices such as CBT or DBT.

  • Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.

Compensation and Benefits
