<p><span >Electrical Commissioning Engineer</span></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong><br>This critical role ensures the quality and compliance of medium-voltage electrical infrastructure during installation and commissioning phases. You will serve as an independent observer, providing vital quality verification and documentation oversight to help deliver a state-of-the-art facility that meets all design, safety, and industry standards.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct daily quality control inspections of mechanical, electrical, and medium-voltage equipment installations, ensuring alignment with design drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.<li>Identify, document, and track installation deficiencies or non-conforming work using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).<li>Verify that issues reported by trade partners are properly documented, assigned, and resolved, monitoring follow-up actions to closure.<li>Review detailed installation and pre-commissioning checklists (L2, L3, L4) submitted by trade partners for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.<li>Capture and document lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining a comprehensive lessons learned register and preparing a final report at project closeout.<li>Communicate observations that could impact schedule, budget, design intent, or operational efficiency to the Owner’s team, escalating potential issues as needed.<li>Perform all services in an observer-only capacity, ensuring no direct instructions or corrective actions are given to trade partners, with all observations communicated solely to the Owner’s team.</ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 10+ years of construction experience, with extensive background in mission-critical or data center environments.<li>Proven experience supporting medium-voltage installation, commissioning, or quality control activities on large-scale projects.<li>Strong understanding of data center electrical infrastructure, including medium-voltage systems such as switchgear, SEL protection relays, transformers, and NETA testing procedures.<li>Demonstrated expertise in reviewing installation documentation and commissioning checklists.<li>Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar construction management platforms, with excellent documentation and issue-tracking skills.<li>Deep knowledge of medium-voltage infrastructure, including switchgear, protection schemes, transformers, and terminations, especially within hyperscale or large-scale data centers.<li>Additional certifications or experience supporting medium-voltage testing and commissioning are highly desirable.</ul>Pandologic.
