Clarvida is seeking a Behavioral Consultant specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (BC-ABA) to provide services throughout Pennsylvania. In this position, you will work with children and adolescents between the ages of 2 and 21 in community-based settings.
The Behavioral Consultant is responsible for evaluating behavioral needs, establishing treatment goals, and providing clinical direction for individualized services. You will work as part of a collaborative team that includes families, schools, and other professionals to help clients make measurable progress.
What Youll Do
Complete behavioral evaluations and client observations to determine areas of concern and establish appropriate treatment targets
Develop and oversee Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs), incorporating feedback from caregivers, providers, and other members of the treatment team
Apply evidence-based ABA techniques and interventions in accordance with recommendations and direction from a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist
Coordinate with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the clients care
Track client progress, maintain timely and accurate clinical records, and provide ongoing clinical monitoring related to treatment objectives
Provide appropriate clinical guidance and oversight to ensure services remain consistent with established treatment plans
Minimum Requirements
Applicants for the Behavioral Consultant Applied Behavior Analysis (BC-ABA) position must satisfy one of the following qualification options:
Pennsylvania licensure as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner, or another professional whose Pennsylvania scope of practice permits oversight of ABA services, combined with BCBA certification or another graduate-level behavior analysis certification.
Pennsylvania licensure as one of the professionals listed above, with one of the following:
BCaBA certification or another undergraduate-level behavior analysis certification; or
At least one year of full-time ABA service experience plus a minimum of 12 college or university credits in ABA; or
At least one year of full-time ABA experience completed under the supervision of a BCBA or another professional holding a graduate-level behavior analysis certification, along with a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-specific training.
Pennsylvania psychologist licensure, combined with at least one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and completion of at least 40 hours of ABA-related training.
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain Pennsylvania Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
Preferred Background
Experience supervising staff or providing leadership within behavioral health, ABA, or a related clinical setting
