Job Description

We are looking for a Case Management Analyst to conduct in-depth analysis of organizational processes for the Medicaid team while providing day-to-day operational support to ensure processes run efficiently and effectively. This position will be Full-Time and Onsite in Newark, DE. This position requires employees to work a minimum of one Saturday per month, as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Learn, understand, and follow federal and state laws, regulations, standards, policies, and Medicaid program requirements

  • Adhere to all CAI and client security requirements

  • Utilize computer inquiry systems to obtain required verifications

  • Retrieve Medicaid applications from the client system and distribute work among team members daily

  • Identify additional benefits associated with cases and route cases to the appropriate processing queues

  • Document case management activities and updates within the eligibility system

  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails and correspondence, and serve as a point of contact for clients

  • Communicate professionally with the client site regarding applications, verifications, and case clarifications

  • Monitor case completion activity within client systems

  • Index verifications and renewals as required

  • Track monthly operational metrics and present results to leadership

  • Conduct weekly audits of assigned cases to ensure completion and accuracy

  • Monitor shared resource mailboxes to ensure work is assigned and completed efficiently

  • Attend individual and team meetings to stay informed of process and policy updates

  • Perform additional case management and operational responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One year of data entry experience

  • One year of customer service experience

  • Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external clients

  • Fluent English communication skills

  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility programs or other public assistance programs

  • Experience working in case management, benefits administration, or eligibility-focused environments

  • Bilingual communication skills

  • Experience working with high-volume case processing and document management activities

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$20 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
