Speech Language Pathologist in Ecorse, MI

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to contribute meaningfully to K-12 student success in a vibrant educational environment. This contract position requires an onsite presence and will run from August 2026 through June 25, 2027, offering the chance to work directly with students, families, and educators to support communicative growth and development.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Prior experience providing speech and language services in a K-12 school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to onsite service delivery; no virtual/remote options available
• Skills in assessment, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and intervention for diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a wide age range of students across K-12
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student learning
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and district guidelines
• Provide support and advocacy for students’ communicative needs within the school environment
