This position involves working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical nursing and a strong ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and intravenously, and accurately record prescribed medications.</li> <li>Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with hospital policy.</li> <li>Educate patients on surgical procedures and record patients' medical information and vital signs.</li> <li>Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.</li> <li>Initiate corrective action whenever necessary to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul> <li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.</li></ul>Pandologic.
