C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, long-term temporary IT Support Technician - Jefferson City, MO

Salary/hours for IT Support Technician: $23-$24/hr.; day shift

Responsibilities for IT Support Technician:

Provide hands-on technical support to end users for desktops, laptops, operating systems, applications, peripherals, and connectivity-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related incidents.
Provide strong support for Windows (& Mac) desktops and laptops, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance.
Manage incoming incidents and service requests through the organization's ticketing system.
Ensure tickets are properly documented, prioritized, updated, escalated, and closed within agreed service levels.
Perform laptop and desktop setup, imaging, configuration, deployment, replacement, and decommissioning and support end-user peripherals
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and equipment
Maintain documentation and use Excel for tracking & reporting data

3–5 years of experience in Desktop Support, End User Computing, Help Desk, Service Desk, or IT Support.
Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common enterprise applications.
Experience troubleshooting desktop, laptop, hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
Experience working with an ITSM or ticketing platform.
Experience managing incidents, service requests, escalations, and ticket closures.
Hands-on experience with device deployment, configuration, upgrades, and replacement.
Experience with IT asset and inventory management.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including maintaining trackers and preparing reports.
Good documentation, organizational, communication and customer service skills
