Engineering Lab Technician

• Execution of product performance tests on small appliances
• Development of procedures to ensure product compliance to energy and safety standards and to ensure continuous improvement of efficiency of each laboratory
• Lead testing and evaluation of division appliances, developing and maintaining lab equipment procedures and energy/safety tests
• Support of the development and maintenance of lab standards, test procedures, compliance, regulatory standards, and efficiency
• Support of cross-functional engineering teams on project work and product development
• Maintenance of all records
• Improvement and maintenance of testing dashboards and implement audits to support corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Maintenance of laboratory consumables, equipment calibration, and execute special projects or assignments as needed
• Leading of problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis to improve product quality.
• Strong organizational skill and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
• Knowledge of and ability to handle laboratory test equipment related to product testing and evaluation.
