Regional Wound Care Nurse (RN) Tennessee
1099 Consultant Full-Time or Part-Time Flexible Schedule Extensive Travel
Were seeking an experienced Wound Care RN to provide clinical support, staff education, and program improvement across multiple Tennessee facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and guide treatment for complex wounds, pressure injuries, and chronic ulcers.
- Train and mentor clinical teams on wound care practices and documentation.
- Standardize protocols, monitor outcomes, and support quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with facility leaders and interdisciplinary teams.
- Travel extensively throughout Tennessee based on facility needs.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- At least 3 5 years of wound care experience; post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred (WCC, CWCN, or CWON).
- Strong clinical, teaching, communication, and EMR documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional travel schedule.
