<div><p><strong>WCS Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a premier academic medical center in New York City.</strong> This opportunity is within a highly specialized Pediatric Critical Care Unit, providing care to critically ill pediatric and adolescent patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.</p><p> </p><h4><strong>Position Details</strong></h4><ul> <li><strong>Title:</strong> Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Critical Care</li> <li><strong>Specialty:</strong> PICU / Pediatric ICU / Critical Care</li> <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Nights</li> <li><strong>Shift:</strong> 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM</li> <li><strong>Commitment:</strong> 13 shifts per month (3x12 schedule equivalent)</li> <li><strong>Location:</strong> New York City</li> <li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Contract / Travel / Local Contract</li></ul><p> </p><h4><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h4><ul> <li>Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients requiring intensive monitoring and critical care interventions.</li> <li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.</li> <li>Monitor complex patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.</li> <li>Administer medications, treatments, blood products, and IV therapies according to established protocols.</li> <li>Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.</li> <li>Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care needs.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.</li></ul><p> </p><h4><strong>Requirements</strong></h4><ul> <li>Active RN license in good standing.</li> <li>BLS Certification required.</li> <li>PALS Certification required.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric ICU and/or Critical Care nursing experience.</li> <li>Experience with high-acuity patients, ventilators, vasoactive drips, and critical care monitoring preferred.</li> <li>Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.</li></ul><p> </p></div><style type="text/css">a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;}tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5;}</style>Pandologic.
