Job Description

Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping plumbing, heating, cooling, and industrial supply products. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, maintains inventory integrity, operates material handling equipment safely, and provides excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming vendor shipments and customer returns.
• Stock inventory and maintain organized warehouse storage locations.
• Pick, pack, and document customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Complete shipping documentation and coordinate shipments with third-party carriers.
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Identify and properly segregate damaged, defective, non-stock, or special-order materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, and damaged goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Assist coworkers and support customers as needed.
• Protect company assets by following established security and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team-oriented with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to lift and move warehouse materials and work in a fast-paced environment. (Common requirement for these positions.)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting up to 50lbs, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
