Role Description This full-time remote Management Consultant role supports Pacific Oaks College in improving institutional effectiveness and student-centered operations. The consultant will analyze academic and administrative processes, identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements, and develop actionable recommendations aligned with the college’s mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and interpreting data, facilitating stakeholder interviews and workshops, documenting current and future-state processes, and preparing reports and presentations for leadership. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to implement approved initiatives, track outcomes, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and generate evidence-based insights.
- Demonstrated expertise in management consulting and consulting practices, ideally within higher education or nonprofit environments.
- Understanding of finance and budgeting principles to assess the financial impact of recommendations and support cost-effective decision making.
- Experience in business process analysis and design, including mapping workflows and optimizing cross-functional operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, public administration, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with change management principles, project management tools, and data visualization or reporting software is beneficial.
