About the Opportunity

Zenius is seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Doctor (MD or DO) to join a growing multidisciplinary occupational medicine practice in Huntsville, Alabama on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact in the care of patients recovering from workplace-related musculoskeletal injuries. You will work alongside experienced Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Physical Therapists, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and electronically sign patient charts and initial evaluation reports completed by Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.


• Provide medical oversight and ensure documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards.


• Perform comprehensive evaluations and follow-up examinations for patients with workplace-related injuries.


• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans.


• Refer patients for physical therapy, imaging, specialist consultations, or additional medical services when appropriate.


• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.


• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.


• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable medical regulations.

Patient Volume

• Approximately 10–12 new patients per month


• Low-volume, patient-centered practice


• Flexible part-time schedule


• Focus on quality of care rather than high patient volume

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)


• Active Alabama Medical License


• Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred


• Experience in Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is preferred


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly compensation: $145–$150 per hour
