Pharmacist - Infusion

An independently owned, growth-oriented pharmacy organization is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to join its team in Texarkana, Texas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys clinical patient care, infusion therapy, and working closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams in a collaborative environment. Schedule is WEEKDAYS ONLY with paid, rotating on-call.

COMPANY WILL ASSIST WITH RELOCATION FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense infusion medications accurately and efficiently


• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams regarding infusion therapies and medication management


• Monitor patient therapies and provide clinical recommendations when appropriate


• Counsel patients and caregivers on medication administration and side effects


• Participate in quality assurance, compliance, inventory management, and operational initiatives


• Participate in rotating on-call coverage

Qualifications

• Active Texas Pharmacist license


• Sterile Processing / IV experience (required)


• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Team-oriented with ability to work independently
