Human Resources Recruiter/Specialist

Our client, a manufacturer in Elmira, NY, is looking to add a Recruiting Specialist to their team who can modernize the recruiting function and support the HR Manager. This role is onsite and candidates must be located in or near Elmira, NY.

Key Responsibilities of this position:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.


• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and facilitate the hiring process.


• Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees.


• A wide variety of Human Resource administrative functions which include data entry, VOE, employee communications, filing, and other administrative duties, as necessary.

Successful candidates will have the following competencies:

• Proven experience as a Recruiter or other similar HR role.


• Attention to detail.


• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.


• A high sense of urgency to meet deadlines and persistence to find the best candidates
