We are seeking an experienced o9 Supply-Side Functional Consultant with deep, hands-on solver and modelling expertise in o9 Solutions' constrained supply planning, strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (MM/PP), and a solid grounding in MRP, MPS, and production scheduling processes. This is a mid-level role: the consultant will run discovery workshops directly with supply planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams, translate requirements into o9 configuration and solution design, and manage expectations across regional and global stakeholders through short-term deployment cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Workshops & Requirements

• Run workshops with supply planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams to define o9 supply planning processes and requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions and document business requirements for planning scenarios and optimization strategies.
• Manage expectations across regional and global stakeholders throughout the engagement.

o9 Supply Model Configuration & Solver Expertise

• Configure o9 supply models, including sourcing rules, lead times, capacity, and inventory policies.
• Apply hands-on solver and modelling expertise to build, tune, and troubleshoot constrained supply plans within o9.
• Validate constrained supply plans and supply-demand matching outputs directly with planners; perform root-cause analysis on planning anomalies and implement corrective actions.

MRP, MPS & Production Scheduling

• Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), and production scheduling processes within o9.

Solution Design & Deployment Planning

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system configuration, and solution design.
• Define short-term deployment plans, including day-by-day execution steps and technical requirements, to support go-live readiness.

Testing & Deployment Support

• Lead functional testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Support production deployments and cutover activities with functional validation and sign-off.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of supply planning experience, with hands-on o9 functional implementation experience.
• Deep, hands-on solver and modelling expertise within o9 supply planning — a thorough understanding of constrained-solve logic is a must.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (MM/PP) and planning data flows between SAP and o9.
• Strong understanding of MRP, MPS, and production scheduling processes.
• Proven ability to configure o9 supply models (sourcing rules, lead times, capacity, inventory policies) and troubleshoot/root-cause planning issues.
• Experience managing regional and global stakeholders, with strong expectation-management skills — this is a mid-level role requiring cross-functional and cross-region collaboration.
• Ability to define short-term deployment approaches and translate technical requirements into a clear solution design.
• Experience with SIT/UAT execution, functional testing, and production support.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Supply Planning–IBP handshake within o9.
• Exposure to or participation in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles.
• o9 Solutions certification or advanced training.
• Experience implementing o9 in large enterprise environments.
• Experience in specific industries such as manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
