Salary: 200,000 - 280,000

About the Firm

A leading international law firm with a highly regarded Real Estate practice is looking for a Real Estate Associate to join its New York team. The firm advises major institutional investors, lenders, developers, landlords, and tenants on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle a range of commercial real estate financing and leasing transactions
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, mortgages, guarantees, leases, amendments, and related documents
• Represent lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and developers throughout transactions
• Manage real estate due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning matters
• Work directly with clients, partners, and other transaction parties from negotiation through closing
• Advise clients on commercial real estate matters and help structure and negotiate transactions

What They’re Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial real estate experience at a leading law firm
• Strong experience with commercial real estate financing and leasing transactions
• Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional documents
• Strong academic credentials and admission to the New York Bar
• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
