Construction Project/Program Manager

Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find an experienced Power Solutions Project Manager / Senior Project/Program Manager to lead temporary and permanent power deployment projects across fulfillment network. This role requires 7+ years of experience in power infrastructure, electrical systems, or utility-scale energy projects, with strong expertise in generators, switchgear, utility upgrades, and end-to-end project delivery. Candidates should have experience managing 10+ concurrent projects, contractors/vendors, switchgear procurement, air permitting, and technical compliance across multiple sites and regulatory environments. Strong stakeholder management, executive reporting, problem-solving, and the ability to execute under compressed timelines are essential, along with willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Location: Seattle, WA – up to 50% travel to project sites across the U.S.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Power Solutions Project Manager / Senior Project/Program Manager to lead multiple power infrastructure projects across fulfillment network. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with electrical infrastructure, power generation, utility upgrades, switchgear, and permitting, along with the ability to manage complex projects from feasibility and design through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple temporary and permanent power deployment projects across U.S. sites.


• Manage utility upgrades, natural gas and diesel generator installations, switchgear deployments, and related infrastructure.


• Oversee project schedules, budgets, risks, procurement, permitting, installation, commissioning, and handover.


• Manage switchgear procurement, including specifications, vendor coordination, lead-time tracking, FAT, and delivery.


• Lead air permitting activities across multiple jurisdictions and coordinate with environmental consultants and regulatory agencies.


• Review electrical designs, single-line diagrams, load calculations, transformer sizing, and power distribution configurations.


• Ensure installations meet technical specifications, NEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes.


• Lead contractors, vendors, consultants, utilities, and cross-functional teams while maintaining accountability for deliverables and timelines.


• Provide weekly project updates and executive-level program reporting while proactively identifying risks and critical-path blockers.


• Travel to project sites during key installation, testing, commissioning, and energization phases.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

1. Power Infrastructure Project Management – 7+ years managing complex electrical infrastructure, power generation, utility, or energy projects, including 10+ concurrent projects.


2. Electrical & Power Systems – Strong hands-on knowledge of medium/low-voltage switchgear, transformers, 500kW–5MW generators, utility upgrades, power distribution, and electrical codes.


3. Procurement, Permitting & Vendor Management – Experience with switchgear procurement, air permitting, contractors/vendors, regulatory coordination, and end-to-end project execution.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Energy Systems, or a related field.

The ideal candidate is a senior power infrastructure project/program manager with 7+ years of experience delivering complex electrical and energy projects across multiple sites. They should have strong expertise in generators, switchgear, utility upgrades, permitting, procurement, and commissioning, with the ability to lead contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams under aggressive timelines. Experience supporting large-scale industrial, logistics, or facilities, along with PMP/PE or equivalent certification, is highly preferred.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $67/hr - $72/hr on W2.
