Maintenance Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Greater Troy, Ohio Area | Full-Time | Onsite
I'm recruiting for a well-established specialty materials manufacturer in the greater Troy, Ohio area that is adding Maintenance Technicians on both 2nd and 3rd shift.
This is a hands-on maintenance position supporting manufacturing equipment in a specialty coating/converting operation.
They're not looking for just one type of background.
Maybe you've spent years in industrial maintenance. Maybe you came through a technical or vocational program. Maybe your experience came from the military. Or maybe you're simply one of those mechanically inclined people who has spent years fixing equipment, figuring out what's wrong and keeping things running. They're willing to look at all of those backgrounds.
What You'll Be Doing
We're Looking For
This is where we're keeping an open mind.
We're interested in people with industrial maintenance experience, technical training, military maintenance experience OR a strong hands-on mechanical/electrical background.
Experience with some of these would certainly help:
You do NOT need to check every box.
If you're mechanically inclined, can troubleshoot a problem, aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and have a track record of figuring out how to fix things and keep equipment running, I'd like to talk with you.
Schedule & Pay
2nd Shift: Hourly rate + $1.50/hour shift differential
3rd Shift: Hourly rate based on experience + $2.00/hour shift differential
There may be some overtime and occasional weekend work based on production needs.
About the Company
The company is an established international manufacturer specializing in coated films, papers, technical tapes and other engineered materials used across industries including automotive, building products, metals, glass, plastics and other industrial applications.
The Troy-area operation is a hands-on manufacturing environment where maintenance plays an important role in keeping equipment safe, reliable and running.
Not the Traditional Maintenance Résumé?
That's okay.
If you've learned your skills through years of hands-on work, the military, a technical training program or simply working around machinery and equipment, don't automatically count yourself out because your résumé doesn't say “Maintenance Technician” in every position.
I'm much more interested in learning what you can actually troubleshoot and fix.
If you're interested — or just want to hear a little more before deciding — send me a message.
