Chicago, IL – 4 days in office per week
$90,000–$100,000 base salary + 10% target bonus

Position Overview
The Client Service Associate will work closely with Financial Advisors to support the delivery of comprehensive wealth management services to ultra-high-net-worth families. This is a highly client-facing position combining relationship management, investment support, financial analysis, and wealth planning coordination.
The Client Services Associate will help prepare for and participate in client meetings, execute follow-up items, review investment reporting, and coordinate with clients and their outside professional advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a detailed understanding of assigned families, including their investment structures, financial priorities, planning considerations, and outstanding needs
Help senior relationship professionals organize the financial information necessary to advise clients effectively
Translate discussions with clients into clearly defined next steps and coordinate those items through completion
Serve as an ongoing point of contact for client requests and help ensure questions are addressed accurately and promptly
Analyze portfolio information and other financial materials before they are discussed with families
Help clients navigate the paperwork and operational steps associated with implementing investment decisions
Contribute analysis used to determine how client assets should be positioned across different investment categories
Support planning work involving the ownership, preservation, gifting, and eventual transfer of family wealth
Coordinate information among the firm, clients, accountants, attorneys, and other outside specialists involved in a family’s financial affairs
Become familiar with the investment vehicles and underlying strategies utilized within client portfolios
Track financial and planning matters that require action across multiple parties and keep projects moving toward completion
Develop materials that communicate investment and planning information in a clear, client-friendly manner
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Approximately 2–4 years of professional experience that provides a strong foundation in investments, accounting, taxation, financial planning, or complex personal finances
Experience within wealth management, investment management, a multifamily or single-family office, or another high-net-worth advisory environment is also highly relevant
Genuine interest in moving toward a relationship-driven career working directly with sophisticated families
Comfortable discussing financial information with clients rather than working exclusively behind the scenes
Able to understand interconnected investment, tax, estate-planning, and financial considerations
Strong numerical reasoning and ability to work through detailed financial information
Working knowledge of investments and an interest in developing deeper familiarity with alternative asset classes
