Staff Accountant

Accountants One is assisting our client in finding a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, account reconciliations, and audits. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with public-company or multinational experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with month-end closing duties, including preparing and posting general ledger journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and performing various tasks for accurate financial statements and senior management reports.


• Coordinating with various third parties on international subsidiary monthly close procedures and preparing journal entries.


• Performing reconciliation of domestic and international activities such as cash reconciliation and inventory balance reconciliation


• Assist in gathering and analyzing information as requested by the internal/external auditors, including statutory audits.


• Assist management in SOX compliance and SEC reporting.


• Other ad hoc activities and projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / Finance required


• Minimum 2 years of accounting or related experience required


• Strong Excel and MS Office skills


• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred


• Excellent problem-solving skills


• CPA license or studying to complete a CPA is a plus
