Role Description The Head of Finance and Accounting will oversee all core finance and accounting operations, including the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports. This contract role involves managing budgeting processes, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic decision-making. The position will lead and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations, while coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders. The Head of Finance and Accounting will provide clear financial insights to leadership, develop dashboards and metrics, and guide the implementation of systems and tools that enhance efficiency and accuracy. This is a remote role that requires effective collaboration across teams and the ability to manage priorities independently.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to lead strategic financial planning and decision support.


• Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including GAAP-compliant practices and audit readiness.


• Demonstrated proficiency in Budgeting and forecasting, with experience managing budgets across departments or business units.


• Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.


• Proven experience in senior finance or accounting leadership roles, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.


• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.


• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly beneficial.


• Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and spreadsheet tools (e.g., advanced Excel skills).
