Credit Analyst

Our client is a leading global investment firm that seeks to provide creative capital solutions and generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our clients. The firm manages various strategies across the capital structure, including privately negotiated senior debt; privately negotiated junior capital solutions in debt, preferred and equity formats; liquid credit including syndicated leveraged loans, collateralized loan obligations and high yield bonds; asset-based finance and real estate.

The firm is seeking to recruit an Analyst/Associate to join the Credit Facility Management team based in New York/New Jersey .The team focuses on the day-to-day management of credit facilities across the platform. These include asset backed facilities secured by fund investments, subscription facilities secured by capital commitments from investors, as well as more bespoke financings.

The individual should be highly organized with strong attention to detail. They should have the ability to meet strict deadlines, as well as work independently and as part of a team. A desire for a fast-paced environment is crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage compliance with credit facility terms, including ongoing Borrowing Base compliance

 Review fund investments to ensure optimal financing of underlying assets

 Manage all credit facility compliance and reporting requirements

 Manage loan approval process with lenders, C & I

 Monitor underlying obligor financials and maintain dialogue with investment professionals to identify potential impacts to credit facilities

 Manage relationship with Custodian / Trustee

 Monitor and manage liquidity of the firm's funds

 Manage audit requests related to credit facilities

 Monitor and ensure accuracy of credit facility data in systems

Candidate Profile

 Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

3+ years of experience in financial services industry

 Understanding of credit facilities and/or CLOs

 Understanding of bank loans
