Composites Engineering Specialist

Intertec Engineering is seeking a Composite Specialist for a long-term contract role supporting one of our premier Aerospace and Defense clients.

At Intertec Engineering, our Engineering Services span the entire product lifecycle, from conceptual design to final verification and certification. We provide robust, end-to-end support tailored to your project, product, or program. Our integrated services combine component and system engineering, electrical and mechanical expertise, rigorous testing capabilities, and comprehensive project management. As part of our aftermarket support, we specialize in repair development to ensure continued airworthiness and operational efficiency beyond the certification stage, addressing in-service issues and extending product life.

This role will be an hourly contract role and 100% remote with some travel required periodically throughout the 6 -12-month term of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in method for creating next generation/current composite parts.


• Evaluate our clients current composite process, and identify areas for improvement.


• Developing plans to modernize the composite processes, including evaluating current equipment, and supply base.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of Composites experience in the Aerospace industry.


• Proven track record in the composites industry with a preference for a professional with patents or written papers on Composites.


• Experienced guiding customers to get Modern regarding Composite processes.
