Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of pediatric patients through comprehensive physical examinations, thorough medical histories, and appropriate diagnostic testing to identify health issues.
• Utilize your clinical judgement to formulate accurate diagnoses and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create targeted treatment plans for each patient.
• Administer prescriptions for medications and therapies, ensuring adherence to established medical guidelines and maintaining close communication with supervising physicians.
• Regularly monitor patients’ progression, evaluating treatment efficacy and making timely adjustments to care plans based on clinical data.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding preventive health practices, chronic disease management, and overall wellness initiatives, fostering a culture of proactive health management.
• Coordinate with various healthcare professionals—pediatricians, nurses, specialists—to guarantee well-rounded and cohesive care for each patient.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, documenting all patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up actions efficiently in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with pediatric healthcare advancements and attending relevant training programs and conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse pediatric population, including infants, children, and adolescents who present with various health concerns ranging from common childhood illnesses to complex health issues requiring specialized care. You will work closely with families to ensure that their cultural and individual needs are acknowledged and addressed, emphasizing a holistic approach to each patient’s health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a comparable advanced practice nursing degree.
• Active certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA-C) and current state licensure for advanced practice in pediatrics.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols, with proven ability to make informed decisions and provide high-quality medical care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on effective communication, allowing for collaborative relationships with patients, families, and the care team.
• Ability to work independently while thriving within a team-oriented atmosphere focused on shared goals and patient-centric care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and relevant healthcare software to document care and communicate effectively within the team.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience as a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider, showcasing your dedication and practice in pediatric healthcare.
• Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines and standards in pediatric medicine that enhance care delivery.
• Knowledge of pediatric subspecialties and their distinct healthcare needs to address complex cases more effectively.
• Bilingual proficiency in languages that are common among our patient demographics, enhancing communication and rapport with families.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 131,000 to 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
