The Role

JB Insurance Corporation is a family-owned independent insurance agency seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable person to support our team and help keep daily operations running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, pays attention to details, and wants to learn about the insurance and real estate industry. Insurance/Real Estate Industry experience is welcome but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills to support day-to-day office operations and leadership needs.


• Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, partners, and team members.


• Solid Clerical Skills, including data entry, filing, document handling, and basic records management.


• Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools) and ability to learn new systems.


• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.


• Demonstrated reliability, discretion with confidential information, and a client-focused mindset.


• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role; experience in insurance or financial services is a plus.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in office administration is beneficial.
