Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Telehealth Services

In this fully remote position, you will engage with clients through our telehealth platform, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for therapy sessions. • Perform comprehensive assessments and detailed evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, subsequently developing tailored treatment plans based on these findings.


• Provide evidence-based therapy services, utilizing an array of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to effectively address a variety of mental health concerns.


• Collaborate actively with a team of professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure that clients receive holistic and coordinated care strategies that encompass both medical and therapeutic support.


• Deliver crisis intervention services, responding adeptly to clients in acute distress, and applying your clinical expertise to navigate and diffuse challenging situations.


• Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with seeking help.

Your work will encompass a diverse client population reflective of the Philadelphia area, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to enhance your cultural competence as you interact with clients experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to PTSD and substance use disorders.

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).


• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients effectively.


• Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity, allowing you to work effectively with clients from various backgrounds and circumstances.


• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Experience in a telehealth setting, with proficiency in utilizing digital platforms for client sessions.


• Prior involvement in community outreach programs or mental health advocacy.


• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, demonstrating an understanding of unique societal challenges faced by different groups.
