L&D RNMust have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.Assignment Length - 13 or 26 WeeksStart Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 NightsYears of Experience: 1First Timers Accepted: YesCerts REQ: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRPSkills REQ: Per UD, Charge Experience Preferred or willing to train as chargeIs on-call REQ: NoWeekend - every otherWill clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: If needed may float to like unitsOpen to accommodating block schedule?: NoLocals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facilityPending License Accepted: Yes, but must have license in hand for Auto OfferRTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittalGuaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeksUNIT INFORMATIONOB Triage/ Testing 5-107-14 LD/AntepartumHigh Risk LD unit. 10 OB Triage Room, 10 LDR Room, 3 OR suites, 4 PACU room. Average Daily Deliveries around 7 but often have up to 14 patients with inductions and high risk antepartum. OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients as well as an influx of triage patients each dayFACILITY INFORMATIONType of Facility: Acute HospitalMagnet/Teaching/Level Trauma: Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in AlaskaTotal Staffed Beds: 407Scrub Color: ProvidedCharting: EpicParking Cost: Parking is freeAdditional Role Expectations:Provide safe, patient-centered care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and/or newborns according to the assigned unit's needs. Monitor patient status, recognize changes promptly, and communicate concerns to the care team.Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain professional communication, and follow all applicable patient-safety, infection-prevention, and documentation standards.
