WHY KNOLLWOOD

Knollwood is a nonprofit life plan community in upper Northwest Washington, DC, operated by The

Army Distaff Foundation. We serve retired military and their families. Independent living, assisted

living, memory care, and skilled nursing sit on one campus, which means residents do not become

strangers when their needs change — and neither do the people who care for them.
