Job Details:
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 3-6 months

Roles & Responsibilities:
) Perform duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel
) Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
) Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and record chief complaints
) Complete required documentation in electronic health records and other systems
) Perform office procedures, tests, examinations, venipunctures, and laboratory tests
) Administer injections, immunizations, and TB skin tests according to protocol
) Transcribe provider orders and schedule follow-up appointments
) Maintain exam/procedure room supplies and cleanliness
) Conduct administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, scheduling, and document preparation
) Utilize Microsoft Office applications to create documents, spreadsheets, emails, and calendar tasks

Required Qualifications:
) High school diploma or GED
) Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant Health Care Training Program in accordance with Arizona.
) Current completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators
) Current First Aid Certification
) Minimum one year of past work experience in a Medical Assistant or related position
