We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to support our expanding finance team and help drive accuracy and efficiency across our accounting operations. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing full-cycle accounting processes, with a strong emphasis on inventory accounting and month-end close. This individual will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and inventory valuation across a multi-location retail environment. The ideal candidate has experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting Lead and execute the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate results Oversee inventory accounting, including costing, reserves, adjustments, and reconciliation across multiple locations Analyze inventory variances and partner with operations to resolve discrepancies Maintain and improve internal controls related to inventory and financial reporting Support financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, and retail operations teams Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within accounting workflows Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience with inventory accounting in a retail, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment Proven expertise in month-end close and full-cycle accounting Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate Experience in a multi-location retail environment Background in high-volume inventory environments Interested in hearing more?
