What You'll Do

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment

• Operate sterilization equipment according to established safety and quality standards

• Monitor and document sterilization cycles and biological testing results

• Prepare surgical instrument trays and sterile supplies for procedures

• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment

• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and department standards

• Identify damaged instruments and escalate concerns appropriately

• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to support daily operations

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED required
Sterile Processing certification preferred (or required per facility guidelines)
Previous Sterile Processing or healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and medical terminology
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
