Assistant Director of Nursing - Home Health

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Home Health Services Nursing Director with the oversight, administration and management of all Seminole Tribe of Florida's Home Health activities and programs operations, ensuring that patient care is coordinated and managed appropriately. The individual assists with the supervision of the clinical staff (nursing services), while maintaining a focus on ethical standards, patient satisfaction, and community health needs.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Nursing or related field is required. Master's Degree in preferred. Possession of an active, current Registered Nurse License in the State of Florida and current CPR certification is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in health care management, preferably in home health care operations. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel. Incumbent must possess excellent customer service skills and must be able to work independently or within diverse groups. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft software packages required. Ability to travel across reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
