Weekend RN, Nursing Home/Hospital Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time (Day Shift)Weekend RN - Hybrid Nursing Home/Hospital (Days & Nights) Pay Range: $38-$42/hrAbout the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospital team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, planned nursing care, support physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and ensure exceptional patient experiences. While primarily based in the hospital, you will also cross-train and float to the Nursing Home as needed to support continuity of care across settings.Weekend RN Hybrid OptionDay Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 6AM to 6:30PMNight Shift: Friday & Saturday, 6PM to 6:30PMHybrid coverage across Hospital + Nursing HomeWhat You'll DoPromote teamwork to enhance patient experience and quality of careDeliver nursing care based on patient needsAssess and document patient status accuratelyCarry out treatments and physician ordersAssist with patient positioning and transportDemonstrate working knowledge of equipment, instruments, supplies, and proceduresRecord treatments, notes, and updates in patient charts to ensure clear communicationAdapt to new ideas, workflows, and care approachesAdminister medications, IV therapy, and drips as orderedComplete patient discharges per physician directionParticipate in in-service training, quality assurance activities, and continuing educationWhat You NeedGraduate of an accredited nursing programValid Illinois RN licenseCPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)ICU experience preferred, but not requiredPhysical DemandsAbility to speak and understand EnglishAbility to lift and turn patients of all ages and sizesAbility to transfer OR patients from gurney to bedAbility to support families of critically ill patientsAbility to communicate effectively with physiciansAbility to work alongside physicians during critical events (e.g., Code Blue)Compensation details: 38-42 Hourly WagePIe4438e9776a2-4967 read more
