Pediatric Urology - Weekend Blocks in Illinois

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient Pediatric Urology coverage
• Collaborative environment with Pediatric Surgery teams
• Dedicated to serving the local community
• Comprehensive hospital support staff available

Schedule:

• Only ~9 shifts per month currently available
• Weekend-only assignments: Friday through Sunday coverage
• Block scheduling allows for significant time off between shifts
• Potential for additional weekday coverage to suit your availability

Procedures and Cases:

• General Inpatient Pediatric Urology cases
• Collaboration with Pediatric Surgery based on case type
• 24-hour on-call responsibility during scheduled blocks
• 15-minute response time required for urgent needs

Requirements:

• Active Illinois medical license required
• Minimum of 24 months of experience
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CSR certifications

Travel Accommodations:

• Full travel and lodging accommodations provided
• Streamlined coordination for all assignment-related transit
