The hospital operates a pathology laboratory that provides comprehensive diagnostic services to support clinical decision-making. The laboratory maintains established protocols for specimen processing and collaborates with off-site hematopathologists for specialized cases. The facility ensures efficient workflow management with dedicated technical support staff to facilitate timely case processing and diagnostic services.

The anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic pathology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call or weekend requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting a general mix of case types while hematology cases are handled by off-site hematopathologists. The position requires performing rapid onsite examination for pulmonary specimens and maintaining diagnostic accuracy for routine pathology cases. Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is mandatory for this locum tenens assignment.
