Description
:Performs all basic radiology and CT exams on patients using correct equipment as required. Greets patients, explaining exams to them and answering any questions. The technologists ensure all exams are correct and diagnostic before releasing patient. The technologist remains current on radiology and CT techniques and procedures. They are willing to work beyond their "normal" working hours, on weekends and holiday's when necessary. They assist the radiologist when needed and is under the direction of the radiology director. What You'll Do
Perform a variety of radiology and CT imaging studies across inpatient and outpatient settings, while supporting advanced procedures, including:
• CTA Head/Neck
• CT Perfusion
• CT Lung Cancer Screening
• CT Calcium Scoring
You'll work with advanced technology, including:
• GE 64 slice scanner
• GE and Samsung X-ray equipment
• EPIC EMR

Education:
Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field
Experience:
Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience
Skills:
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
ARRT - R
Preferred: ARRT - CT
