  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
  • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care delivery
  • Maintain shift accountability for patient outcomes within the LTAC/Telemetry settingRequired Qualifications
    • Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license (Compact)
    • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or a related specialty
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
    • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart AssociationPreferred Experience / Skills
      • Prior travel nursing experience
      • Experience in a telemetry or long-term acute care environment
