        • Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients
        • Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs
        • Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management
        • Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies
        • Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services
        • Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies
        • Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives
        • Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence-based practice and nursing research
        • Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers

                  • Additional skills certifications as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team on a day shift schedule, 32 hours per week (four 8-hour shifts). The EP Lab is a highly specialized, fast-paced procedural environment focused on diagnosing and treating cardiac rhythm disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team while caring for patients undergoing advanced electrophysiology procedures.
                    The ideal candidate is a strong team player who is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic setting. EP Lab RNs support procedures such as ablations, device implants, and EP studies, while providing patient monitoring, sedation support, and post-procedure care. Prior critical care or procedural experience is preferred, along with strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
