Position Summary:
The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, implementing quality improvements, and maintaining a quality management system to the ISO 9001 standard. This high-profile position shall implement change management by coordinating with engineering and manufacturing resources, and lead projects to meet strict quality requirements. This role provides guidance to production and quality inspection personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and to achieve the quality expectations known throughout the industry. Responsibilities include interacting with a supplier network, issuing internal and external corrective actions, performing frequent quality and product audits, and assuring key performance indicators are met.

Requirements
· B.S. in Engineering/Technical field or 8 + years experience in manufacturing or quality.
· Background in a machining and manufacturing environment.
· Proven management experience with ISO 9001
· Proficient in conducting internal process and product audits.
· Strong working knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and problem-solving tools.
· Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5-2009 GD&T standard.
· Experience in developing manufacturing process and inspection plans
· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within company and customer locations.
· Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in using various software and technology platforms related to quality control and manufacturing.
· Knowledge of Epicor and 1-Factory is a plus
· Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
· Knowledge of various industry standards is a plus.
