We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant with experience in acute care surgery for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Rainier, Oregon. This position is focused on providing exceptional support for emergency department (ED) on-call coverage and surgical assistance. • Start Date: February 1, 2025
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule:
  • Shifts available:
    • Weekdays: 7:00 AM3:00 PM, 7:00 AM5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM7:00 PM
    • Weekends: 7:00 AM3:00 PM
    • Rotation: 1 week on / 1 week off
    • Setting: Inpatient, no clinic responsibilities
    • Call Requirements:
      • In-house, assisting with ED on-call coverage and surgical support
      • Response time: 30 minutesResponsibilities
        • Assist surgeons with emergency and urgent cases.
        • Support post-operative consultations as needed.
        • Be the first point of contact for urgent surgical cases, ensuring smooth workflows for the surgical team.Requirements
          • Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
          • Must be board-certified as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery.
          • License: Oregon licensure required.
          • Acute care surgery experience strongly preferred.Additional Information

            • No supervision of other advanced practice providers is required.
