Maintenance Repair Person II

Purpose of this position:

This is a position requiring skilled maintenance and repair work in the building, mechanical, or electrical trades. An employee in this class works in a variety of trades in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in at least two of the building, electrical, and mechanical trades
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical or mechanical trades.
• High school diploma or GED
