Atlanta, GA | Legal Practice Assistant (Subrogation)

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Legal Practice Assistant to support its growing Subrogation Practice Group in Atlanta. This position will provide direct support to attorneys handling complex recovery matters and litigation, serving as a key resource in managing case files, coordinating deadlines, preparing legal documents, and supporting all phases of the litigation process.

The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience supporting litigation attorneys and possess strong organizational, communication, and document management skills. Experience within subrogation or related practice areas is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, revise, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, depositions, and mediations
• Coordinate state and federal court filings
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
• Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist with discovery, document production, and trial preparation
• Handle time entry, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of legal assistant experience
• Prior litigation support experience required
• Experience in subrogation or insurance-related litigation preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office and document management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Compensation: $65,000-$80,000
