Surgical Assistant

Basu Aesthetics + Plastic Surgery is seeking a passionate, technically skilled, and patient-centered professional to join our team as a Surgical First Assistant at our state-licensed Beleza Ambulatory Surgery Center. Position Overview

The Surgical First Assistant will work closely with our plastic surgeons in the operating room, assisting in a wide range of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures. We are particularly seeking candidates with strong technical skills in:

• meticulous tissue handling,
• aesthetic surgical assistance,
• and excellent cosmetic subcuticular closure techniques.

In addition to intraoperative responsibilities, the candidate may assist with perioperative and postoperative patient care, patient education, and clinical support.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following certifications/degrees:

• LSA
• CSA
• RNFA
• PA-C

Additional requirements:

• Current Texas state licensure/certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to exceptional patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Attention to detail and professionalism
• Experience in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic closures strongly preferred
