Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant Job Details
  • Location: New Braunfels, TX 78130

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant Qualifications
  • Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) credential required
  • Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time: 4x10 hour shifts per week
  • Willingness to travel between Texas healthcare facilities as needed
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Flexibility to assist with anesthesia blocks, spinals, and epidurals
Anesthesiologist Assistant Responsibilities
  • Deliver anesthesia care under medical supervision for general, orthopedic, gynecological, and ENT procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative healthcare staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments, manage intraoperative anesthesia, and support post-operative recovery
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
  • Travel between Resolute Baptist Hospital and North Central Baptist Hospital as scheduled
  • Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced hospital environment
