Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care at a community hospital outpatient center
Manage a daily patient load of established patients with a focus on complex cases and long-term patient relationships
Collaborate with a team of 3 experienced HemOnc providers, 6 RNs, a PA/NP, and office staff
Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with support staff
Handle clinical responsibilities during scheduled shifts, including patient exams, follow-ups, and consultations
Participate in light beeper call for established patients, ensuring timely phone consult responsesWhat You Need
Active Virginia medical license
Board certification or eligibility in Hematology & Oncology
Fellowship training in Hematology & Oncology preferred
At least 2 years of HemOnc clinical experience in outpatient settings
Ability to commit to a long-term, stable schedule and maintain a professional, compassionate approach
