Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00am-5:30p, Monday-Thursday
Wage: Starting at $17 per hour with increase after hired on!
Responsibilities:
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Deliver Raw materials necessary for production to assembly lines and deliver finished goods to the warehouse
• Provide parts to assembly line
• Open boxes, crates, and other containers
• Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
• Will assist in counting of physical inventory – Cycle Counting.
• Prepare parcels for shipping
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
• Wear the correct and proper safety equipment
• Be able to use a pallet jack, weight scale, and calculator
• Ability to read BOM, and production schedule
• Properly identify parts by number
Order Pulling
• Prioritization of Job Orders to be pulled by the Material Handler will be done by the Production Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Line Leads based on the production schedule
• Prioritization of Job Orders will be determined in a production planning meeting prior to the next day’s build (i.e. Tuesday’s build/pull priority and sequence will be determined on Monday before 2 PM)
• Material Handlers assigned to pull orders will receive pull lists from the Line Leads
Experience required in manufacturing with a highschool diploma or equivalent.
