We are seeking an Edgebander Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Greenville, WI. This hands-on position is responsible for setting up and operating edgebanding equipment used to apply protective and finished edging to manufactured panels and components.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of machine operation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience working with precise measurements. This position involves machine setup and operation, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and basic equipment maintenance.
Set up and operate edgebanding machinery according to production specifications and work orders
Feed and process panels and components through equipment safely and efficiently
Read and interpret production labels, measurements, and product specifications
Verify measurements to ensure finished products meet order requirements and established tolerances
Inspect finished products for proper edging, adhesion, smoothness, and overall quality
Use measurement and inspection tools to identify defects or inconsistencies
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production standards
Monitor equipment and identify potential mechanical or quality issues
Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and perform basic adjustments or repairs
Coordinate more complex equipment repairs with maintenance personnel as needed
Complete routine preventive maintenance according to established procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Maintain accurate inventory records for materials and production supplies
Follow all required safety procedures and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Complete production tasks within established quality and productivity expectations
1–3 years of machine operation experience required
Experience with edgebanding equipment, woodworking machinery, cabinetry, or panel processing is a plus
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to accurately read and work with precise measurements
Ability to recognize product defects and make appropriate machine adjustments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to identify equipment issues through visual or audible indicators
Comfortable performing basic troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustments
Ability to follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
